A pre-race sample was taken from Belisarius.
Not Loitering was quick to begin. Koda Blue was slow to begin. Belisarius and Vectis Seyarda collided soon after the start. Not Loitering and Garick Olivander collided on the first turn. Weeona Dino, Koda Blue and Vectis Seyarda collided on the first turn, checking Vectis Seyarda. Shakey Shadow and Koda Blue collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Shakey Shadow, and causing Koda Blue to fall.
Koda Blue was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the right hock, a seven day stand down period was imposed.
