Dynamic Rainbow, Surgical Wally, Miss Crazy, Sazana and Issy Keats collided soon after the start checking Miss Crazy and Sazana.  Miss Crazy was checked off Surgical Wally approaching the first turn.  Sazana and Shakey Breaky collided on the first turn severely checking Miss Crazy and Sazana.  Hurunui Jack and Dynamic Rainbow collided on the first turn and again approaching the winning post.

Dr. Luvdisc was slow to begin.  Able Bess and Fairy Where collided soon after the start severely checking Able Bess.  Able Bess brushed the running rail on the first turn.  Lakeview Lyn faltered in the back straight and lost considerable ground, Lakeview Lyn collided with Able Bess as a result.  Lottie Glenda and Dr. Annie collided on the second turn checking Lottie Glenda.

Lakeview Lyn was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left wrist, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Owlette was quick to begin.  Akina Blitz was slow to begin.  Ima Ghost Buster crossed in soon after the start and collided with Crossfire Icon checking Croucher, Sunny's Kayo and Expense Eve.  Akina Blitz and Expense Eve collided on the first turn.  Crossfire Icon and Sunny's Kayo collided approaching the second turn.  Akina Blitz was checked off Expense Eve on the third turn.  Croucher and Sunny's Kayo collided on the third turn.  Ima Ghost Buster and Lethal Lomar collided entering the home straight.  Sunny's Kayo and Akina Blitz collided approaching the winning post.

Vandagambo was slow to begin.  Evil Shadow and Celestial Jewel collided soon after the start.  Final Chimes and Rappa Flash collided soon after the start.  Kiomara was checked off Vandagambo on the first turn.  Evil Shadow and Celestial Jewel collided on the first turn.  Rappa Flash was checked off I'm The Poppet on the first turn and brushed the running rail.  Vandagambo crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Evil Shadow and Celestial Jewel causing Kiomara to brush the running rail.  I'm The Poppet and Rappa Flash collided on the second turn checking Rappa Flash.  Kiomara and Rappa Flash collided on the third turn checking Kiomara.

Dee Dee Kay was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left front foot, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Dr. Leonardo was slow to begin.  Philo Bale and Akina Dee Jay collided on the first turn.  Philo Bale and No Passengers collided on the first turn.  Who's Got Class and Ruby's Image collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn checking Ruby's Image.  No Passengers, Thumb A Ride and Dr. Leonardo collided on the second turn.  Akina Dee Jay and Dr. Leonardo collided on the third turn.

Bossino was slow to begin.  Lucas Rose crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Cookie Rose, Galloping Leo, Bossino, Lonesome Katie and Dr. Walter.  Cookie Rose was checked off Lonesome Katie on the second turn.  Galloping Leo was checked off Dr. Walter on the second turn.

Black Shirley, Our Echo Rose and Our Bravo Rose were slow to begin.  Silvagni Cubed and Mother Monster collided on the first turn.  Our Echo Rose and Our Bravo Rose collided on the first turn.  Black Shirley and Bigtime Bruce collided approaching the home turn checking Black Shirley.  Mustang Sammy raced wide in the home straight.

Galester Hook was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound cramped, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Galea the trainer of the greyhound Galester Hook.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (cramp) Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a satisfactory trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

Gappy Hilmore was slow to begin.  Meehan Deano, Rido's Ace and Gappy Hilmore collided soon after the start checking Meehan Deano and Gappy Hilmore.  Meehan Deano, Tooka Half and Juno Away collided on the first turn severely checking Phillip Keeping and causing Meehan Deano to gallop on Juno Away checking Meehan Deano, Eduardo Rose and Mister Brown, Mister Brown and Meehan Deano raced wide as a result.  Juno Away and Eduardo Rose collided approaching the home turn.
