Jayanti crossed to thte rails on the first turn, checking Spolly's Girl which lost ground and collided with Kazza Magoo and Ebonique. Polo Pete crossed to the outside on the first turn, checking Blistering Betty and Always Alone. Spolly's Girl and Always Alone collided approaching the home turn, checking Spolly's Girl. Polo Pete raced wide in the home straight. 

Spolly's Girl was vetted and after being re-vetted following event three, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

La Vagabonde was quick to begin and stumbled soon after the start. Kraken Smiles and Sweet Gabriella were slow to begin. Boone, Jetyra Buckskin and Kraken Smiles collided approaching the second turn. La Vagabonde checked off Flaming Brooke approaching the second turn. Boone and Jetyra Buckskin collided on the second turn. La Vagabonde and Flaming Brooke collided on the home turrn. 

Buckle Up York was a late scratching at 5:40pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Flying Storm was slow to begin. Rodeo, Sweet Sparkle and Fantastic Ghost collided soon after the start. Crump's Princess, Rodeo, Sweet Sparkle, Fantastic Ghost and China Catch 'Em collided approaching the first turn, checking Rodeo and Sweet Sparkle. China Catch 'Em and Flying Storm collided on the first turn. Crump's Princess and China Catch 'Em  collided on the first turn. Harambe's Might and Fantastic Ghost collided on the first turn. Crump's Princess and Rodeo collided approaching the second turn, checking Harambe's Might. Rodeo and Fantastic Ghost collided in the back straight and again on the third turn. Crump's Princess checked off Flying Storm on the third turn. Oriental Tarj tired over the concluding stages of the event.

Oscar De Lonhro faltered on the first turn and collided with Sale Graze Bindi. Oscar De Lonhro faltered again on the third turn.

Oscar De Lonhro was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left back muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

A pre race sample was taken from Dava Supreme. 

Due to a malfunction with the camera equipment, there was no main race vision for this race.

Jacqui Shoshone and Veracity collided entering the home straight, checking Veracity. Colonel checked off Kraken Mazing approaching the third turn. Dava Supreme, Our Gal Livy and Veracity collided approaching the winning post. Dava Supreme and Jacqui Shoshone collided approaching the winning post.

A pre race sample was taken from Miss Sweet Pea.

Miss Sweet Pea and Empress Rose were quick to begin. Tahlia's Diamond was slow to begin. Galloping Flash and Tahlia's Diamond collided on the second turn. Psychedelic Jay and Cookie Yap collided on the fourth turn, checking Cookie Yap. Miss Sweet Pea checked off Lady Ceecee on the fourth turn. Miss Sweet Pea and Spokane Flick collided on the home turn.

Leopardstown and Johnny Black were slow to begin. Bacardi Breezer and Leopardstown collided approaching the first turn. Ratajkowski and Johnny Black collided on the first turn, checking Ratajkowski, Bacardi Breezer and Labuan Starfish. Bacardi Breezer and Ratajkowski collided approaching the second turn. Johnny Black crossed in on the third turn, checking Doc's Reward and Light The Track. Light The Track and Johnny Black collided approaching the home turn, checking Johnny Black. 

Mr. Paul Anderton, the trainer of Nitroniun declared a new weight of 34.8kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Nitroniun last raced at 33.1kg.

Rahni checked off Tijuana Icon on the first turn, checking Really Magic which collided with Shot To Glory, Von Magic and Joyous, checking Shot To Glory and Nitroniun, and severely checking Von Magic. Kalani Amy, Really Magic and Nitroniun collided approaching the home turn. Joyous raced wide on the home turn. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Robert Sullivan, the representative of Sazoo Icon regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Sazoo Icon last raced on 2nd March 2018. Ms. Sullivan stated that the greyhound was new to the kennel.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Terry Burns, the trainer of Burnsy's Sam regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Burnsy's Sam last raced on 6th March 2018. Mr. Burns stated that the greyhound had been recovering from a right front toe injury.

Augustus Dagloop was slow to begin. Augustus Dagloop stumbled soon after the start and checked off Sazoo Icon. Burnsy's Sam stumbled approaching the first turn. Sazoo Icon and My Names Rhonda collided on the first turn, and again in the home straight. Sazoo Icon, My Names Rhonda and Burnsy's Sam collided approaching the winning post.

Lady Mikado and Monster Machine collided approaching the first turn. Sharp Missile checked off Minnie Wizard on the first turn, causing Buckle Up Spud to gallop on the heels of Sharp Missile, checking both greyhounds.

A pre race sample was taken from Slick Diamond.

Sunlit Breaker, Gappy Hilmore and Slick Diamond collided soon after the start, checking Maggie Mikado. Sunlit Breaker and Beluga Diamond collided on the first turn, checking Sunlit Breaker. Gappy Hilmore, Slick Diamond and Sub Zero Magic collided on the first turn, checking Spritely Malibu, and severely checking Slick Diamond, Maggie Mikado gallop on the heels of Slick Diamond as a result, causing Slick Diamond to falter and tail off. Sunlit Breaker and Sub Zero Magic collided approaching the home turn. Maggie Mikado checked off Spritely Malibu approaching the home turn. Gappy Hilmore and Maggie Mikado raced wide in the home straight. 

Slick Diamond was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left triangle muscle. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Shady Whip trialled over the 311m from box one, weight 31.6kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of five. The time of the trial was 17.90, the greyhound won by a margin of 4.5 lengths. Shady Whip was Cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Ms. Uta Bickerton, the trainer of Pacific Reef regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Pacific Reef last raced on 20th September 2017. Ms. Bickerton stated that the greyhound had a spell and was recovering from a  left triangle injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Pacific Reef trialled over the 311m from box three, weight 32.1kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of five. The time of the trial was 17.90, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 12.25 lengths. Pacific Reef was Cleared. (Pacific Reef and Brakae collided several times from the first turn to the home turn, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.)

Satisfactory Trial Results - Brakae trialled over the 311m from box five, weight 32.9kg, the greyhound was placed fifth in a field of five. The time of the trial was 17.90, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 13.5 lengths. Brakae was Cleared. (Pacific Reef and Brakae collided several times from the first turn to the home turn, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.)

Satisfactory Trial Results - Happy Allen trialled over the 311m from box seven, weight 25.5kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of five. The time of the trial was 17.90, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4.5 lengths. Happy Allen was Cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. Gregory Carter, the trainer of  Why Not Jojo regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Why Not Jojo last raced on 5th November 2017. Mr. Carter stated that the greyhound had whelped a litter. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Why Not Jojo trialled over the 311m from box eight, weight 31.1kg, the greyhound was placed third in a field of five. The time of the trial was 17.90, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 6.25 lengths. Why Not Jojo was Cleared.
