Fawn Regrets and Dyna Gabba were slow to begin. Counting Pennies checked off Capo on the first turn. Counting Pennies and Daytona Fernando collided on the first turn. Capo and Xinnia Allen collided approaching the home turn. Daytona Fernando checked off Dyna Gabba on the home turn. Capo checked off Xinnia Allen entering the home straight. Capo raced wide and cramped in the home straight.
Capo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained mild cramping. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Gatt, the trainer of the greyhound Capo. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
