Steward's Report
Dyna Harpa was quick to begin. Loch Monster was slow to begin. Demand A Panda and Elevated collided soon after the start, checking Elevated. Demand A Panda and Loch Monster collided approaching the first turn, checking Loch Monster. Dyna Fabrice checked off Grand Devinci approaching the first turn. Jacqui Shoshone and Pyrenees Petraca collided approaching the first turn. Dyna Fabrice and Loch Monster collided on the first turn. Dyna Fabrice, Demand A Panda and Loch Monster collided on the second turn. Dyna Harpa dislodged its muzzle in the back straight and lost ground. Dyna Harpa and Pyrenees Petraca collided on the third turn, checking both greyhounds. Elevated and Loch Monster collided approaching the home turn, checking Elevated.
Grand Devinci was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained left and right hindleg archiles tendon injuries, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Barry Chatwin, the representative of Grand Devinci, and directed that a follow-up veterinary consultation for Grand Devinci must be undertaken within three days.
Dyna Harper was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
