Winlock Intent and Fast Izzi were slow to begin.
Ima Rebel, Winlock Intent, Avalon Sisco, Fast Izzi and Aston Amore collided soon after the start checking all greyhounds and severely checking Winlock Intent. Aston Amore checked off Geopark Ruby and collided with Ima Rebel on the home turn. Chief Command tired over the concluding stages.
