Steward's Report
Raine Allen was quick to begin. Big Tilly was very slow to begin (4 lengths).
Geller Allen shifted out eased and collided with Raine Allen in the home straight. Muzzle Welsh checked off the heels of Wok Fried Yabby in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Mrs L. Delbridge, the representative of the greyhound Geller Allen regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Geller Allen was vetted and re-vetted following event 8. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right monkey muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Geller Allen with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mrs Delbridge pleaded guilty to the charge, Geller Allen was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
