Misty's Boy and Tat Warby collided soon after the start checking Tat Warby. Greg's Prince, Idaho Blue and Launch Time collided approaching the first turn checking Greg's Prince. Launch Time, Idaho Blue and Gunmetal Liam collided on the first turn checking Idaho Blue and Gunmetal Liam. You Bandit and Tat Warby collided on the home turn checking You Bandit. You Bandit and Launch Time collided entering the home straight and several times in the home straight. Tat Warby marred Short Leash in the home straight and approaching the winning post.
Tat Warby was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Warburton, the trainer of the greyhound Tat Warby regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight and approaching the winning post. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Tat Warby with marring. Mr. Warburton pleaded guilty to the charge, Tat Warby was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
