Stewards spoke to Mrs. B. Ennis, the trainer of Pandaken regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Pandaken last raced on 20th December, 2017.  Mrs. Ennis stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after being on season.

Stewards spoke to Ms. C. Ivers, the trainer of Tear Town, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Tear Town last raced on 27th January, 2018. Ms. Ivers stated that the greyhound was new to the kennel.

Stewards spoke to Ms. A. Peat, the trainer of Elaine Avenue regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Elaine Avenue last raced on 27th September, 2017.  Ms. Peat stated that the greyhound had returned to racing after having its tonsils removed.

Pyrenees Classic and Zipping Nancy collided approaching the home turn checking Zipping Nancy. Sambucca Rose and Delaware County collided several times approaching the home turn checking Sambucca Rose, Delaware County and All About Now. All About Now and Aston Ricardo collided on the home turn.

Moro, the trainer of Militant Spirit regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Militant Spirit last raced on 20th January, 2018.  Mr. Moro stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after being on season. Mr. Moro also declared a new weight of 26.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Militant Spirit last raced at 28.4kg.

Kiwi Collision was quick to begin.

Rockstar Stratus and Golden Blaze collided approaching the first turn. Miss Pepperjack checked off Golden Blaze on the first turn. Militant Spirit severely checked off Rockstar Stratus in the home straight.

Casanova checked off Kid Ringo on the first turn. Casanova and Shiny Bright collided entering the back straight checking Casanova. Amigo, Kid Ringo, Knuckles Kerley and Dynamic Street collided approaching the second turn checking Kid Ringo and Knuckles Kerley. Knuckles Kerley and Shiny Bright collided approaching the home turn. Dynamic Street and Full Of Weetbix collided on the home turn.

Mr. Abela stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a right stopper injury.   Mr. Abela also declared a new weight of 32.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Turbo Tom last raced at 33.7kg.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) and (Weight Trial) - Stewards spoke to Mrs. L. Shingles, the trainer of My Lilly regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. My Lilly last raced on 13th June 2017. Mrs. Shingles stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from a left wrist injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, My Lilly trialled over the 450mts from box 1, weight 26.8kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 23.96, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 6L. My Lilly was Cleared
