Gehrig was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Callum's Son, Tibby Shore and Starbright Toby collided approaching the first turn, checking Starbright Toby.  Caribbean Red, Callum's Son and Tibby Shore collided approaching the first turn, checking Callum's Son and Starbright Toby and severely checking Tibby Shore.  Gehrig checked off Tibby Shore on the first turn.  Callum's Son checked off Fernando's Flare approaching the home turn.  Gehrig and Tibby Shore collided on the home turn.  Callum's Son and Fernando's Flame collided in the home straight.

Starbright Toby was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

My Girl Rosie and Little Steps were slow to begin.  Limburg Magic and New Echo collided soon after the start, checking Limburg Magic.  Limburg Magic checked off My Girl Rosie on the first turn.  Aussie Giant checked off New Echo approaching the home turn.  Limburg Magic and Little Steps raced wide entering the home straight.

Shultz's A Rebel, Three Soldiers and Short Note were quick to begin.  Perfect Player crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Lonnie Dream, Cosmic Brew and Perfect Player. Shultz's A Rebel and Three Soldiers collided approaching the first turn, checking Shultz's A Rebel and My Boy Joey.  Shultz's A Rebel galloped on the heels of Three Soldiers approaching the first turn, checking Shultz's A Rebel, Three Soldiers and My Boy Joey.  Cosmic Brew and Three Soldiers collided on the first turn, checking Three Soldiers.  My Boy Joey checked off Shultz's A Rebel entering the home straight.  My Boy Joey and Shultz's A Rebel raced wide in the home straight.

A pre race sample was taken from Coffee Scroll, at the trainers kennels earlier today.

Kurtis Pandora was a late scratching at 6:20pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to pyrexia (elevated temperature). A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Bob's Brew and Glendower were slow to begin.  Coffee Scroll and Sandy Flash collided soon after the start, checking Coffee Scroll.  Sandy Flash crossed to the rail on the first turn causing Coffee Scroll to contact the running rail and check Bob's Brew.

Coffee Scroll was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle and left pencil muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Quick Session crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Lance Allen, Pepper Rock, Dyna Hunter and Mesmerized.  Kulu Cooper, Pepper Rock and Quick Session collided approaching the first turn, checking Pepper Rock.  Lance Allen checked off Dyna Hunter approaching the first turn.  Undisputed, Kulu Cooper, Dyna Hunter and Quick Session collided on the first turn, checking Kulu Cooper, Dyna Hunter and Aston Ninja.  Kulu Cooper and Dyna Hunter collided on the home turn, checking Kulu Cooper.

Chief Command and Midnite Starling collided soon after the start, checking Chief Command.  My Mate Wally crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Our Didda, Capo and Mr. Automatic.  Midnight Starling and Noosa Jet collided approaching the first turn, checking Noosa Jet.  Capo, Our Didda and My Mate Wally collided approaching the first turn, checking Our Didda.  My Mate Wally and Master Reid collided on the first turn, checking Master Reid.  My Mate Wally and Master Reid collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight, checking both greyhounds.  Midnite Starling, Our Didda and My Mate Wally raced wide in the home straight.

Ms Mandy Shaw, representative of Fess Crockett declared a new weight of 32.4 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Fess Crockett last raced at 33.8 kgs.

Fab Reiko, Joffa's Mate and Dyna Winkler collided soon after the start.  Zipping Diva checked off On The Bonnet approaching the first turn.  Fess Crockett and Fab Reiko collided approaching the first turn, checking Fess Crockett.  Zipping Diva and Fab Reiko collided on the first turn, checking Zipping Diva and Joffa's Mate.  Moonbeam checked off On The Bonnet approaching the home turn.

Fess Crockett was vetted and after being re-vetted following event 9, it was reported that the greyhound sustained a sprained right hock , a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre race sample was taken from Gregorovitch.

Despacito was slow to begin.  Gregorovitch and Aston Dinnigan collided soon after the start.  Gregorovitch, Aston Dinnigan and Zipping Maisy collided approaching the first turn, checking Aston Dinnigan and Zipping Maisy.  Zipping Maisy and Serendipity Gold collided on the first turn, checking Serendipity Gold.  Despacito and Zipping Maisy collided entering the home straight, checking Zipping Maisy.  Serendipity Gold raced wide in the home straight.

On Time Johnny and Meninges were slow to begin.  On Time Johnny stumbled soon after the start.  Cash Chewing, Kylo Ren and Uprising collided approaching the first turn, checking Kylo Ren and Uprising.  Meninges and Kylo Ren collided approaching the first turn, checking Kylo Ren.  On Time Johnny checked off Meninges approaching the home turn.  Uprising checked off Norendal on the home turn.

Meninges was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left back muscle and pencil muscle, right triangle muscle and abrasions to the right hind toes, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Victor Millington, the trainer of Solar Mocha regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Solar Mocha last raced on 22 Feb 18. Mr Millington stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a left hind toe injury.

A pre-race sample was taken from Mahjong World

Kyrgios and Corleone collided approaching the first turn, checking Corleone.  Barked Off, Harsh Miles and Marjong World collided approaching the first turn, checking Barked Off and Harsh Miles.  Mahjong World checked off Kyrgios on the first turn.  Luke's Gift and Kyrgios collided approaching the home turn, checking Luke's Gift.  Luke's Gift and Harsh Miles collided approaching the home turn, checking Luke's Gift which stumbled as a result.  Mahjong World, Kyrgios and Solar Mocha collided entering the home straight, checking Solar Mocha. Mahjong World, Kyrgios and Angel Cloud collided entering the home straight, checking Angel Cloud.  Corleone raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr J Fowler regarding the handlers difficulty in boxing the greyhound Henderson.  Stewards directed that Henderson be boxed first in future events.
