Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mrs. J. Gill, the representative of Degani regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Degani last raced on 27th January, 2018. Mrs. Gill stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a left metatarsal injury.
A pre-race sample was taken from Twenty Tamar.
Degani and Twenty Tamar were quick to begin. Artistic Alyssa and Deano's Smidge were slow to begin. Deano's Smidge and North Wind collided approaching the first turn. Twenty Tamar and Alabar collided on the first turn checking Twenty Tamar. Dr. Summer and Twenty Tamar collided approaching the home turn. Gotcha Mate and Dr. Summer collided approaching the home turn.
A sample was taken from Degani - the winner of the event.
