Zahra Bella crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Gold Odessa, Destini Pegasus and Brienne. Miss Legality, Squirto and Blackpool Alexis collided approaching the first turn, checking Blackpool Alexis. Gold Odessa, Miss Legality and Blackpool Alexis collided on the first turn, checking Gold Odessa. Blackpool Alexis checked off Destini Pegasus approaching the home turn.
Gold Odessa was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hindleg quadriceps injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
