A pre-race sample was taken from El Grand Richo upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
A pre-race sample was taken from Luca Rocket.
Luca Rocket was slow to begin. Ark Lightning checked off Aldrich soon after the start. Jacki Jai and Ark Lightning collided approaching the first turn, checking Ark Lightning. El Grand Richo, Kabo's Winlock, Aldrich and Avalon Sisco collided on the first turn, checking Aldrich and Zipping Diva. Jackie Jai and Ark Lightning collided on the first turn, checking Ark Lightning and severely checking Luca Rocket. Aldrich and Zipping Diva collided approaching the home turn, checking Zipping Diva.
Luca Rocket was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
