Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Derubeis, the trainer of the greyhound Keybey.  Stewards deemed the performance of Keybey unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Keybey must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Our Echo Rose and Shrek's Typhoon were slow to begin.  What's Up Skip and One More Light collided approaching the first turn.  Wot Price Boofa, Aladdin Prince and What's Up Skip collided approaching the first turn checking Aladdin Prince and What's Up Skip.  Aladdin Prince, Our Echo Rose, Iona Misty and Shrek's Typhoon collided approaching the first turn checking Iona Misty, Our Echo Rose and Shrek's Typhoon.  Wot Price Boofa and What's Up Skip collided on the second turn.  One More Light and Our Echo Rose raced wide in the home straight.  Wot Price Boofa eased and failed to pursue the lure approaching the winning post.

Wot Price Boofa was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left sartorius muscle.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Allen, the trainer of the greyhound Wot Price Boofa regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1), Stewards charged Wot Price Boofa with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Allen pleaded guilty to the charge.  Wot Price Boofa was found guilty and suspended for 3 months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. A. Wood, the trainer of Bronelly Spike regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Bronelly Spike last raced on 26th October 2017.  Mr. Wood stated that the greyhound was returning to race after a right front tendon injury.

Zipping Pedro and Lopsided were slow to begin.  Lopsided faltered soon after the start and subsequently pulled up as a result.  Delta's Magic, Aremac Igor and Merchant Prince collided approaching the first turn checking Aremac Igor.  Bronelly Spike, Delta's Magic and Merchant Prince collided approaching the first turn checking Merchant Prince.  Bronelly Spike checked off Delta's Magic on the first turn.  Aremac Igor and Merchant Prince collided entering the back straight checking both greyhounds.  Aremac Igor galloped on the heels of Delta's Magic in the back straight checking Delta's Magic and severely checking Aremac Igor and Bronelly Spike.  Zipping Pedro and Merchant Prince collided on the second turn checking Zipping Pedro.  Zipping Pedro and Delta's Magic collided in the home straight.

Zipping Pedro was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left monkey muscle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Lopsided was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left back muscle.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Magic Maya and Sisco Dun were slow to begin.  Pancake and Avalon Sisco collided approaching the first turn.  Avalon Sisco and Top Shot Jack collided on the first turn.  Magic Maya and Sisco Dun collided on the first turn checking Magic Maya.  Voluptuous Ruby and Sisco Dun collided on the first turn checking Sisco Dun.  Voluptuous Ruby and Sisco Dun collided on the second turn checking Voluptuous Ruby.  Sisco Bella and Pancake collided on the third turn and again approaching the home turn.  Pancake veered out and marred  Sisco Bella on the home turn.

Pancake was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right monkey muscle.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms. B. Johannsen, the representative of the greyhound Pancake regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under GAR 69(1), Stewards charged Pancake with marring.  Ms. Johannsen pleaded not guilty to the charge.  Pancake was found guilty and suspended for 3 months (all tracks) and it was directed  that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Wild Angel was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Small Rose was a late scratching at 5:40pm on Veterinary advice (GAR 37-fleas).  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mizuki was quick to begin.  Parie Shiraz was slow to begin.  Midnight Marzy and Ends Well collided on the first turn.  Blocka Boy checked off Mizuki on the first turn causing Ends Well to race wide.  Midnight Marzy and Blocka Boy collided on the second turn checking Blocka Boy and Ends Well.  Parie Shiraz and Midnight Marzy collided on the third turn checking Parie Shiraz.
