Steward's Report
Magic Maya and Sisco Dun were slow to begin. Pancake and Avalon Sisco collided approaching the first turn. Avalon Sisco and Top Shot Jack collided on the first turn. Magic Maya and Sisco Dun collided on the first turn checking Magic Maya. Voluptuous Ruby and Sisco Dun collided on the first turn checking Sisco Dun. Voluptuous Ruby and Sisco Dun collided on the second turn checking Voluptuous Ruby. Sisco Bella and Pancake collided on the third turn and again approaching the home turn. Pancake veered out and marred Sisco Bella on the home turn.
Pancake was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right monkey muscle. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Ms. B. Johannsen, the representative of the greyhound Pancake regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn. Acting under GAR 69(1), Stewards charged Pancake with marring. Ms. Johannsen pleaded not guilty to the charge. Pancake was found guilty and suspended for 3 months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b), before any future nomination will be accepted.
