Maximum Jet and Kiss Me Putu were quick to begin. Dyna Gabba was slow to begin. Zipping Zoe and Bronelly Jet collided soon after the start. Chief Command and Zipping Zoe collided approaching the first turn, which hampered both greyhounds. Kiss Me Putu and Come Home collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Zipping Zoe and Chief Command collided approaching the home turn and again in the home straight.
