Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Nicole McRae trainer of Valar Morghulis regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Valar Morghulis last raced on 12 October 2017. Nicole McRae stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after being seasonal.
Inga Ross was slow to begin. Zipping Galon and Laile Brobio collided soon after the start. Valar Morghulis and Zipping Galon collided approaching the first turn. Zipping Galon and Inga Ross collided approaching the home turn, and again in the home straight.
Laile Brobio which trailed the field throughout and tailed off, was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both quadriceps, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
