The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Hot Jean and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 5:58 pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr John Barbara was fined the sum of $100.
A pre race sample was unable to be obtained from Destini Peso. A post race sample was subsequently taken.
I'm All One was slow to begin. Panadero King was quick to begin. Villy Mac Pizazz and Destini Peso collided approaching the first turn. I'm All One checked off Destini Peso on the first turn, checking Argyle Roxanne. I'm All One and Argyle Roxanne collided approaching the home turn, checking Argyle Roxanne. Villy Mac Pizazz checked off Argyle Roxanne approaching the home turn. Argyle Roxanne raced wide on the home turn and collided with Villy Mac Pizazz as a result.
