Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Clint Capuano, the trainer of Undeniably regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Undeniably last raced on 9th November, 2017. Mr Capuano stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a hock injury.
A pre race sample was taken from Undeniably.
Bomber Marlow and Take That Banksy were quick to begin. Secret Message, Jockey Bale and Take That Banksy collided on the first turn, checking Take That Banksy. It's All Bolony and Undeniably collided on the first turn. Secret Message and Jockey Bale collided several times in the home straight.
Undeniably was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
MEETING COMMENTS:
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. P Hofman, the trainer of No Quarter Given regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. No Quarter Given last raced on 21 August 2017. Mr. Hofman stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an extended spell. P Hofman also declared a new weight of 36.7kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). No Quarter Given last raced at 33.8kgs. Pursuant to GAR 77A, No Quarter Given trialled over the 390m from box 8, weight 36.7kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.70, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4 lengths. No Quarter Given was cleared.
