Steward's Report
Mr. T. Churchill, trainer of Tarika Tara declared a new weight of 27.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Tarika Tara last raced at 28.6kg.
A pre race sample was taken from Starlight Jill.
Hummin Gun was quick to begin. Sidevalve and Freakish Flash were slow to begin. Crainy's Wish, Tarika Tara and Master Reid collided soon after the start, severely checking Tarika Tara. Crainy's Wish checked off Skyes Apprentice on the first turn, checking Master Reid and Freakish Flash. Freakish Flash and Tarika Tara raced wide entering the home straight. Master Reid crossed to the outside and raced wide in the home straight.
Master Reid was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
