Scooter contacted the running rail on the first turn.  Reality Sail and Fascinate Queen collided approaching the home turn.  Stealthy Flight and Lanatis Dream collided in the home straight.  Lanatis Dream and Fascinate Queen collided approaching the winning post.

Scooter was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Outta Ammo was very slow to begin (3 lengths)

Grey Magic, Princess Parker, Krypto Jam and Little Bala collided on the first turn checking Grey Magic and Krypto Jam.  Princess Parker checked off Little Bala on the home turn and collided with Krypto Jam and My Territory checking Princess Parker, Krypto Jam and My Territory.

My Territory was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey muscle injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Farfalla Nera was quick to begin.  Dellmo was slow to begin.

Farfalla Nera, Go Zippy Go and Ebonique collided soon after the start checking Ebonique.  Dubai Prince, Farfalla Nera and Go Zippy Go collided on the first turn severely checking Farfalla Nera, Ebonique and Touch Of Silk, Shanlyn Bubbles and Dellmo fell as a result.  Go Zippy Go clipped the heels of Dubai Prince approaching the home turn.

Farfalla Nera was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Shanlyn Bubbles was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left shoulder injury and an abrasion to the left hind foot, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Dellmo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left radius/ulna fracture and was humanely euthanised.

Spritely Malibu was quick to begin.  Aladdin Prince and Shanlyn Magic were slow to begin and collided approaching the first turn.  Shadow Walker, Holly's Affair and Spritely Malibu collided approaching the first turn checking Holly's Affair, Spritely Malibu, Shanlyn Magic, Hartley Matt and Aladdin Prince.  Holly's Affair and Spritely Malibu collided on the first turn checking Holly's Affair, Aladdin Prince and severely checking Spritely Malibu.  Holly's Affair raced wide approaching the home turn.  Aladdin Prince and Holly's Affair collided entering the home straight.

Spritely Malibu was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Where's Lachie was vetted prior to the running of this event and passed fit to race.

Hollywood Nights and Penny Rocks collided soon after the start.  Hollywood Nights, Penny Rocks, Jobes Return and Dynamic Deano collided approaching the first turn checking Hollywood Nights, Penny Rocks and Jobes Return.  Hollywood Nights galloped on Penny Rocks approaching the second turn.  Midgey, Dynamic Deano and Jobes Return collided approaching the second turn checking Midgey, severely checking Dynamic Deano and Penny Rocks and causing Hollywood Nights and Penny Rocks to collide severely checking both greyhounds which tailed off as a result.  Dynamic Deano tailed off approaching the home turn.

Dynamic Deano was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right split webbing and spike wounds to the left and right hind below the calf, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Hollywood Nights was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Penny Rocks was vetted following the event.   It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right thigh injury and an abrasion to the left hind foot, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to the trainer of Where's Lachie Mr A. Ferguson and reminded him of his responsibilities in providing care and handling of his greyhound when removing it from the veterinary table after the examination (GAR 27 (1) ).

Doc's Reward was quick to begin.  Just Like Didda, Magenta Gold and Diesel Turbo were slow to begin.

Astrology, Vane Power and Meehan Sox collided on the first turn.  Just Like Didda and Magenta Gold collided on the first turn.  Astrology and Vane Power collided approaching the second turn.  Just Like Didda checked off Diesel Turbo approaching the second turn.  Astrology and Vane Power collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Astrology and Diesel Turbo collided entering the back straight checking Astrology.  Magenta Gold checked off Astrology on the home turn.  Sparky Neveelk raced wide throughout the event.

Augustus Dagloop, Zahra Belle and Mustang Sammy collided approaching the first turn checking Mustang Sammy and Scooby Boy causing Scooby Boy to race wide.  Sub Zero Magic and Mustang Sammy collided approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight checking Sub Zero Magic, both greyhounds raced wide.

Galloping Fantom was quick to begin.  Resplando and Philo Bale were slow to begin and collided approaching the first turn.  Aston Utah crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Doused In Mud.  Newfire Drewie, Galloping Fantom and Tobacco Leaf collided on the first turn checking Galloping Fantom, Doused In Mud and Resplando.  Resplando and Doused In Mud collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Resplando checked off Doused In Mud on the second turn.  Newfire Drewie and Galloping Fantom collided on the second turn.

Porscha's Girl was quick to begin.  Buckle Up Scotch, Blue Afro and Oozing Mojo were slow to begin.

Buckle Up Scotch and Blue Afro collided soon after the start.  Porscha's Girl and Koitsenko collided approaching the first turn.  Eureka Osti clipped the heels of Porcha's Girl approaching the first turn checking Eureka Osti and Buckle Up Scotch.  Buckle Up Scotch checked off Eureka Osti on the home turn checking Blue Afro.

Slippery Parker was a late scratching at 5.30pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a right stopper injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
