Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Paul Radstock, the trainer of Face To Face, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Face To Face last raced on 22 September 2017. Mr Radstock stated that the greyhound had been seasonal.
Stewards spoke to Mr G Paez, the handler of Two Seasons, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Two Seasons last raced on 9 November 2017. Mr Paez stated that the greyhound had been spelling.
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) catching pen scanner Mr Ryan Johnsondid not act in any official capacity for this event.
A pre-race sample was taken from Two Seasons.
My Lil' Angel and Grand Hero were slow to begin.
Grand Hero faltered soon after the start and took no competitive part in the event. Two Seasons and My Lil' Angel collided soon after the start. Face To Face faltered at the 200m mark and subsequently tailed off. Two Seasons and My Lil' Angel collided at the 150m mark and again at the 50m mark.
Face To Face was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a carpal sprain to the right wrist. A 21-day stand down period was imposed.
Grand Hero was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound exhibited diarrhoea and dehydration. A14-day stand down period was imposed.
