Track Curator Mr. Q. Tanner, advised stewards that the track was medium harrowed on Monday 12th February.

Kinmoss Brave was slow to begin. Thomeli Boy and Fastest Indian collided soon after the start. Attack Plan marred the running of Thomeli Boy approaching the first turn. Neb's Horse checked off Shamrock Valley on the first turn. Attack Plan eased and turned it's head outwards on the first turn. Dyna Jenaya, Neb's Horse and Attack Plan collided on the first turn, checking Dyna Jenaya.

Attack Plan was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left back muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Bell, the trainer of the greyhound Attack Plan regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the first turn.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Attack Plan with marring. Mr. Bell pleaded guilty to the charge, Attack Plan was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warrnambool and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Topaz Warrior was slow to begin. Luca Flyer was very slow to begin (5 Lengths). Topaz Warrior checked off Kalani Tim soon after the start. Swansea Ceri and Kalani Tim collided approaching the first turn. Due Fratteli, Kalani Tim, Ledgerwood Molly and Swansea Ceri collided on the first turn, checking Swansea Ceri and Ledgerwood Molly. Triceps Brachii and Ledgerwood Molly collided approaching the home turn, checking Ledgerwood Molly. Swansea Ceri and Too Far Out collided approaching the home turn. Ledgerwood Molly and Swansea Ceri collided on the home turn, checking Swansea Ceri and Too Far Out. Too Far Out and Swansea Ceri collided on the home straight. Topaz Warrior and Due Fratteli collided approaching the winning post.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Mepunga Reign, a post race sample was subsequently taken.

Pretty Sensation and Nitro Value were slow to begin. Ledgerwood Road, Lush Life and Mepunga Reign collided soon after the start, checking Lush Life and Miracles Happen. Thomeli Rocket and Ledgerwood Road collided approaching the first turn. Nitro Value checked off Ledgerwood Road on the first turn, checking Mepunga Reign, Kiss Me Razley and Miracles Happen. Ledgerwood Road and Thomeli Rocket collided approaching the home turn. Lush Life checked off Mepunga Reign on the home turn. Ledgerwood Road shifted out in the home straight and collided with Nitro Value. Nitro Value galloped on the heels of Ledgerwood Road in the home straight. Mepunga Reign and Kiss Me Razley collided in the home straight.

Ledgerwood Road was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. A. McDowall, the trainer of the greyhound Ledgerwood Road.  Stewards deemed the performance of Ledgerwood Road unsatisfactory in this event in particular from approaching the home turn until the winning past and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Ledgerwood Road must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mr J.Maple, trainer of Not Onya Own declared a new weight of 35.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Not Onya Own last raced at 33.8kg.

Trapezius and Ollie Buck were slow to begin. Not Onya Own, Don's Just Under and Jim's Hotel collided soon after the start. Not Onya Own and Don's Just Under collided approaching the first turn. Dat Dat Daty, Don's Just Under and Jim's Hotel collided approaching the first turn, checking Don's Just Under and Jim's Hotel. Not Onya Own and Don's Just Under collided on the first turn, checking Don's Just Under and Jim's Hotel. Trapezius and Jim's Hotel  collided approaching the home turn.

Not Onya Own was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Stewards spoke to Mr P. Byrne, trainer of Miss Lava regarding the length of time the greyhound had between races. Miss Lava last raced on 8 November 2017. Mr Byrne stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right monkey muscle injury.

A pre race sample was taken from Wilbur Deeds. 

Usain Insane was slow to begin. Supraspinatus, Miss Lava and Burnout collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Miss Lava, which stumbled and lost considerable ground. Supraspinatus and Wilbur Deeds collided on the first turn, and again in the home straight. 

Miss Lava was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Real Obsession was slow to begin. Faster Bolt and Don Lesta collided soon after the start. Aston Lola and Kumbia Lass collided approaching the first turn. Aston Lola checked off Kumbia Lass on the first turn, checking Real Obsession and Zipping Jacy. Solar Mocha checked off Faster Bolt approaching the home turn. 

Last Princess was slow to begin. Ocean Bay and Blue Hunter collided soon after the start. Last Princess galloped on the heels of Dark Vader on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Scarlet Blu Boy, Blue Hunter and Quick Session collided approaching the home turn. Last Princess and Dark Vader collided on the home turn, checking Last Princess. Ocean Bay checked off Quick Session in the home straight. 

A pre race sample was taken from Noosa Parade. 

Mepunga Laser, Annie Lava and McIvor Verna collided approaching the first turn, checking Annie Lava and Mepunga Laser. Ok Jake and Noosa Parade collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Mepunga Laser and Annie Lava collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. McIvor Verna checked off Gateway To Eden entering the back straight. Annie Lava checked off Matty Mateusz on the third turn, checking Annie Lava and McIvor Verna. Annie Lava and Matty Mateusz collided entering the home straight. Matty Mateusz and Mepunga Laser collided in the home straight. 

Matty Mateusz was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right thigh, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre race sample was taken from Lektra Guiseppe. 

Ultron and Lektra Guiseppe were slow to begin. Crackerjack Ale, Cudgee's Milo and Xtreme Shine collided soon after the start. Emerald Rainbow, Kalani Willow and Cudgee's Milo collided on the first turn, checking Cudgee's Milo and Kalani Willow. Lektra Guiseppe and Boona Lad collided on the first turn. Cudgee's Milo checked off Lektra Guiseppe approaching the home turn. Emerald Rainbow and Boona Lad collided approaching the home turn. Cudgee's Milo and Lektra Guiseppe collided several times approaching the home turn. Ultron and Xtreme Shine collided on the home turn, checking Ultron. 

Stewards spoke to the lure driver, Mr Nathan Kenna in regards to the lure distance from the lead greyhound in the back straight. After viewing the replays, Stewards were comfortably satisfied that no greyhound was affected. Mr. Kenna was reminded of his obligations pursuant to GAR 55.

A pre race sample was taken from Arolok Jax. 

Don's Machine was slow to begin. Fernando Drums and Arolok Jax collided soon after the start. Crackerjack Shak checked off Bella Express approaching the first turn. Invented, Don's Machine, McIvor Gordon and Arolok Jax collided approaching the first turn. Rumbling Bajooks checked off Fernando Drums on the first turn. Don's Machine and Arolok Jax collided approaching the home turn. 

A pre race sample was taken from Djarragun. 

Sudoku Flash and Subscapularis were slow to begin. Robyn's Boy, Djarragun and Fast Trapper collided approaching the first turn, checking Djarragun. Fast Trapper checked off Kiowa Kaema approaching the first turn. Fast Trapper, Unlocked and Sudoku Flash collided on the first turn. Fast Trapper and Kiowa Kaema collided approaching the home turn. 

Stewards spoke to Mrs M. Quick, handler of Sutre Sizzler regarding the length of time the greyhound had between races. Sutre Sizzler last raced on 4 October 2017. Mrs Quick stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a left metacarpal injury.

The start of this race was delayed by approximately 2 minutes, due to rabbits on the track in the home straight.

Sutre Sizzler was quick to begin. Chasing James and Foxzami Storm collided soon after the start, checking Foxzami Storm. Lucky Holly and Cee Sunrise collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds.
