Stewards spoke to Mr W.Lamb, Trainer of Switch Girl regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Switch Girl last raced on 20 December, 2017.  Mr Lamb stated that the greyhound had been in season. 

Proven Strudel and Senni Richard were quick to begin.  Clovalley Rang stumbled at box rise and was very slow to begin (8 lengths).  Proven Strudel, Penberthy and Open Mind collided approaching the first turn checking Proven Strudel.

Iron Fist was presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling and was Not Cleared to race.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Speedway Doll trialled over the 390m from box 4, weight 27.9kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.06, the greyhound was beaten by 13.5 lengths.  Speedway Doll was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (Blinkers) - Mister Peanuts trialled over the 390m from box 8, weight 31.1kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.06, the greyhound was beaten by 6.5 lengths.  Mister Peanuts was cleared to race in blinkers.
