El Donberto was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right hock, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr B. Jones, Trainer of El Donberto, regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Considering the injury sustained, Stewards took no further action.

Boehm, regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the first turn.  Considering the injury sustained, Stewards took no further action.

Stewards spoke to Mr B. Fothergill, Trainer of Crackerjack Des regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Crackerjack Des last raced on 20 December, 2017.  Mr Fothergill stated that the greyhound had a change of kennels. 

Alabama Lane was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Golden Aura was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Crackerjack Des, Chloe Crumpet and Compsognathus collided approaching the first turn checking Chloe Crumpet.  Crackerjack Des, Compsognathus and Launch Time collided on the first turn checking Crackerjack Des and Chloe Crumpet.  Chloe Crumpet and Compsognathus collided approaching the home turn checking Compsognathus.  Golden Aura raced wide in the home straight.

Ms K Smitrh, Representative of Midnight Kebab declared a new weight of 28.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Midnight Kebab last raced at 29.6kg.

Dragon's Den was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left back muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Track Curator, Mr B. Groom, advised stewards that the track was medium harrowed on  27 March, 2018.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr A. Ferguson, the trainer of Specific regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Specific last raced on 15 April, 2017.  Mr Ferguson stated that the greyhound had a change of kennels.   Pursuant to GAR 77A, Specific trialled over the 450m from box 1, weight 35.6kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 25.72, the greyhound won by a margin of 4.25 lengths. Specific was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (PEDS & Blinkers) - Lochinvar Rox trialled over the 450m from box 8, weight 30.9kg,the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4.The time of the trial was 25.72, the greyhound was beaten by 10.25 lengths. Lochinvar Rox was Cleared To Race In Blinkers.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Revin Kevin trialled over the 390m from box 7, weight 28.9kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4.The time of the trial was 22.9, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 6 lengths.  Revin Kevin was Cleared.
