A pre-race sample was taken from Todd Bless.
Discovered was quick to begin. Amigo One and Solar On collided soon after the start. Agent Osti checked off Crymelon Kit on the first turn, checking Smoke Or Fire. Amigo One raced wide on the first turn, checking Discovered and Just Banji. Amigo One and Discovered collided on the home turn. Solar On and Crymelon Kit collided in the home straight. Agent Osti cramped and lost ground in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Mr Michael Niele, the trainer of the greyhound Agent Osti. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr John Weir-Smith, the trainer of Rogue One regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Rogue One last raced on 21 August 2017. Mr Weir-Smith stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a left wrist injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Rogue One trialled over the 410m from box one, weight 32.4 kgs, the greyhound was placed second in a field of five. The time of the trial was 23:81, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of six lengths. Rogue One was Cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Underrated trialled over the 410m from box five, weight 27.2 kgs, the greyhound was placed third in a field of five. The time of the trial was 23:81, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 8.25 lengths. Underrated was Cleared.
