This race was delayed by approximately 2 minutes due to a Waterlea race running behind schedule.
Who's Got Class was slow to begin. Cullquin Bomber and Two Seasons collided approaching the 300m mark. White Diamond, Who's Got Class and Big Deal collided at the 300m mark, checking White Diamond and Who's Got Class. Two Seasons and Leave Me Out collided at the 250m mark. White Diamond faltered at the 150m mark and lost ground.
White Diamond was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left thigh and spike wounds to the right hind foot, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
