Steward's Report
Mr. B. Keel, representitive of It's A Glamma, declared a new weight of 29.9 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). It's A Glamma last raced at 31.2 kgs.
Stewards spoke to Ms. V. Wisener, the trainer of Aston Tobin, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Aston Tobin last raced on 16th December 2017. Ms. Wisener stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a right hock injury.
My Bro Black was slow to begin. Aston Tobin checked off It's A Glamma soon after the start. Splinter, Lady Emerald and Shanlyn Dolly collided approaching the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Festivus galloped on the heels of Aston Tobin on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Splinter and Lady Emerald collided on the home turn. My Bro Black raced wide on the home turn. Aston Tobin checked off Festivus on the home turn. Splinter galloped on the heels of Aston Tobin entering the home straight checking Aston Tobin. Festivus checked off Shanlyn Dolly in the home straight. It's A Glamma baulked in the home straight.
It's A Glamma was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr. B. Keel, the representative of the greyhound It's A Glamma regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.
Samples were taken from the first two placegetters in this event - Croucher (1st) and It's A Glamma (2nd).
