Stewards spoke to Ms. V. Wisener, the trainer of Aston Tobin, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Aston Tobin last raced on 16th December 2017.  Ms. Wisener stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a right hock injury.

My Bro Black was slow to begin.  Aston Tobin checked off It's A Glamma soon after the start.  Splinter, Lady Emerald and Shanlyn Dolly collided approaching the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Festivus galloped on the heels of Aston Tobin on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Splinter and Lady Emerald collided on the home turn.  My Bro Black raced wide on the home turn.  Aston Tobin checked off Festivus on the home turn.  Splinter galloped on the heels of Aston Tobin entering the home straight checking Aston Tobin.  Festivus checked off Shanlyn Dolly in the home straight.  It's A Glamma baulked in the home straight.

Adam Mandam was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right monkey muscle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Knew It trialled over the 400 metre distance from box 8, weight 31.9kgs.  The greyhound was placed 1st, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 23.01.  The greyhound won by a margin of a neck.  Knew It was cleared.
