Magenta Gold was slow to begin. Lakeview Maisey checked off Aston It Is approaching the first turn. Aston It is, Matty Mateusz and Mahi Indian collided approaching the first turn, checking Dundee Calypso, Aston It Is and Mahi Indian, causing Matty Mateusz to fall. Lakeview Maisey raced wide throughout the event.
Matty Mateusz was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left pencil muscle and left triangle muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
