The start of this race was rescheduled to 4:00 pm after the lure while on its run to the boxes contacted the catching pen gate damaging the lure arm and carriage. All subsequent races were put back one race to allow the change of the lure arm and carriage. Race 12 was rescheduled to commence at 6:49pm.

Jack's Pick was a late scratching at 2:34pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to left hind toe nail injury. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr C.Taylor, trainer of Gelwix and issued a warning over his misconduct towards the On Course Veterinary Surgeon  GAR86(h) while vetting his greyhound.

Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Divirgilio, the representative of Crash Zone regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Crash Zone last raced on 6th December 2017. Mr. Divirgilio stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a change of kennels. Mr. Divirgilio, also declared a new weight of 31.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Crash Zone last raced at 30.0kg.

Stewards spoke to Ms. S. Gray, the trainer of Tegz A Riddler regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Tegz a Riddler last raced on 19th December 2017. Ms. Gray stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from an extended spell.

This race was delayed by 2 1/2 minutes to hold for Forbury Harness.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Ancarian Lancer trialled over the 390mts from box 1, weight 28.3kg, the greyhound was placed 6 in a field of 6. The time of the trial was 23.03, the greyhound beaten by a margin of 10L. Ancarian Lancer was cleared.
