This event was delayed by 1 1/2 minutes due to operational matters.
Night King and Hit 'N' Split were slow to begin. Are You and Cosmic Polly collided soon after the start checking Are You. Tiempo Dinero and Kraken Mazing collided approaching the first turn. Kraken mazing and Hit 'N' Split collided on the first turn checking Kraken Mazing.
Stewards delayed giving the all clear for this event until they reviewed the video footage of the opening of the boxes. Stewards were satisfied that no greyhound was affected by the bouncing of the box lids and declared all clear.
