Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Lindrea, the trainer of It's A Lie regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. It's A Lie last raced on 10th December, 2017. Mr. Lindrea stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a left hock injury.
It's A Lie and Rare Gem were slow to begin. Macalister Tiger and Shady Whip collided soon after the start. Absolute Breeze and Rare Gem collided approaching the first turn. Rare Gem clipped the heels of Flash Bobbie on the first turn. Flash Bobbie checked off Shady Whip on the home turn and raced wide in the home straight. Rare Gem and Macalister Tiger collided in the home straight.
