Gearbox Girl and Our Star were slow to begin.  Bowie Boy,  Our Star and It's A Date collided on the first turn checking Bowie Boy, Our Star and It's A Date and severely checking Gearbox Girl and Daisy Me Diggin'; Daisy Me Diggin' stumbled as a result.  It's A Date raced wide in the home straight.

Daisy Me Diggin ' was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn right dew claw, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Lightning Boxy, Cruisy's Star and Secret Of Mine were slow to begin.  Lightning Boxy and Not Practical collided soon after the start checking Not Practical.  Dyna Caleb, Not Practical and Cruisy's Star collided on the first turn severely checking Dyna Caleb and Not Practical;  Not Practical contacted the running rail as a result.

Not Practical was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right hind and a laceration to the left foreleg, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Lil' Miss Willow was very slow to begin (4 lengths).   Zipping Irwin crossed in approaching the first turn checking Swift Gem.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Lindrea, the trainer of It's A Lie regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  It's A Lie last raced on 10th December, 2017.  Mr. Lindrea stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a left hock injury.

It's A Lie and Rare Gem were slow to begin.  Macalister Tiger and Shady Whip collided soon after the start.  Absolute Breeze and Rare Gem collided approaching the first turn.  Rare Gem clipped the heels of Flash Bobbie on the first turn.  Flash Bobbie checked off Shady Whip on the home turn and raced wide in the home straight.  Rare Gem and Macalister Tiger collided in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. L. Floyd, the trainer of Blue Cat Wombat regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Blue Cat Wombat last raced on 26th December, 2017.  Mr. Floyd stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a spell.

Backin' Bully checked off Bigtime Raider soon after the start.  Deadline, Blue Cat Wombat and Conclusive collided approaching the first turn checking Deadline and Blue Cat Wombat.  Deadline and Blue Cat Wombat collided on the first turn checking Blue Cat Wombat.  Conclusive and Backin' Bully collided on the home turn.

Crackerjack Daza was quick to begin.  Loaded, Zipping Oliver, Allen Gerwen and Buzz Rash collided on the first turn checking Allen Gerwen and Buzz Rash.  Buzz Rash galloped on Zipping Oliver in the back straight severely checking both greyhounds.  Crackerjack Daza faltered on the second turn and lost considerable ground checking Loaded and Allen Gerwen.

Crackerjack Daza was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right shoulder injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Dimitri Bale and Anjing Betina collided approaching the first turn checking Anjing Betina.  Twenty Tamar and Audacious Poppy collided approaching the first turn.  Audacious Poppy clipped the heels of Twenty Tamar on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Harry's Entity checked off Lottie Glenda on the first turn checking Zipping Koda.  Dimitri Bale checked off Audacious Poppy approaching the home turn.  Dimitri Bale and Anjing Betina collided on the home turn.  Dimitri Bale, Anjing Betina and Harry's Entity collided entering the home straight checking Anjing Betina and Harry's Entity; Anjing Betina raced wide as a result.  Twenty Tamar galloped on Splash Of Blue entering the home straight severely checking both greyhounds and checking Dimitri Bale and Audacious Poppy.  Twenty Tamar and Dimitri Bale collided in the home straight.  Harry's Entity checked off Twenty Tamar approaching the winning post.

Bigtime Bruce was quick to begin.  Sergeant Schultz was slow to begin.  Strycova and Pippa's Pride collided soon after the start.  Scorching Lucy and Daisy Patch collided approaching the first turn.  Pippa’s Pride contacted the running rail approaching the first turn.  Scorching Lucy and Daisy Patch collided on the first turn checking Scorching Lucy and severely checking Pippa's Pride.  Scorching Lucy and Seaton Star collided on the first turn.  Seaton Star clipped the heels of Bigtime Bruce approaching the home turn.  Bigtime Bruce checked off Crackerjack Tags approaching the home turn.  Daisy Patch and Seaton Star collided on the home turn.

Pippa's Stride was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Ann Cherie and Macalister Mac were slow to begin.  Caidan Marlo and Quirky collided approaching the first turn.  Quirky and Macalister Mac collided approaching the first turn checking Macalister Mac.  Caidan Marlo and Villy Mac Pizazz collided on the first turn checking Villy Mac Pizazz.  Ann Cherie and Macalister Mac collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.
