Steward's Report
Dazzling Melody was a late scratching at 3.40pm due to illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Stewards spoke to Ms L. Gore the trainer of Call Me Ernie regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Call Me Ernie last raced on 7 September 2017. Ms Gore stated that the greyhound was resuming from a torn right achilles. Ms L. Gore also declared a new weight of 34.8 kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Call Me Ernie last raced at 33.7 kg.

Harvey Mills was quick to begin. Raloo Barbara and Cosmic Moments were slow to begin.
Raloo Barbara checked off Blucifer on the first turn. Nitro Heroine, Crainy's Wish and Blucifer collided on the first turn checking Crainy's Wish. Blucifer and Nitro Heroine collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.
