Chasin' Destiny crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Cruisy's Patch. Cruisy's Patch and Dyna Worker collided approaching the first turn checking Cruisy's Patch. Boomer Blitz checked off Chasin' Destiny on the first turn. Boomer Blitz and Cruisy's Patch collided on the first turn and resulted in Cruisy's Patch to race wide. Miss Terindah raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight. Aston Veloci checked off Dyna Owen in the home straight.
