Steward's Report
Sale Graze Chloe, Double The Power and Pinky Tuscadero were slow to begin. Catcha Nugget, Rasleigh Banser, Zipping Todd, Zipping Queen and Acer collided approaching the first turn checking Rasleigh Banser, Zipping Todd, Zipping Queen and Acer. Double The Power, Rasleigh Banser, Zipping Todd and Acer collided on the first turn checking Rasleigh Banser, Zipping Todd and Acer. Catcha Nugget checked off Sale Graze Chloe approaching the home turn checking Pinky Tuscadero. Double The Power veered out and marred the running of Sale Graze Chloe in the home straight severely checking both greyhounds
Double The Power was vetted and after being re vetted following event 5, it was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Healey, the representative of the greyhound Double The Power regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Double The Power with marring. Mr. Healey pleaded not guilty to the charge. Double The Power was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
