Zipping Lucky was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hind triangle and calf muscle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Kroes and Sandtrack Sniper were slow to begin.  Scooby Scooby Do, Zipping Brandy and Sure Load collided approaching the first turn checking Scooby Scooby Do.  Zipping Brandy, Sure Load and Sapphire Power collided on the first turn.  Sandtrack Sniper checked off Sapphire Power on the home turn checking Scooby Scooby Do.

Double The Power was vetted and after being re vetted following event 5, it was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury,  a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Healey, the representative of the greyhound Double The Power regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Double The Power with marring.  Mr. Healey pleaded not guilty to the charge.  Double The Power was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Tinderella was a late scratching at 4:53pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to illness (dehydration).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Riviera Cruz, Air Load and Lakeview Maisey were slow to begin.  Taabinga Flash, Air Load and Smitten collided on the first turn checking Air Load.  Omega Brittany, Smitten and Taabinga Flash collided entering the back straight checking Riviera Cruz causing Taabinga Flash and Air Load to fall checking Lakeview Maisey.  Lakeview Maisey raced wide approaching the home turn.
