Steward's Report
Kirby's Rose was a late scratching at 11:03PM on 6th January 2018 due to injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Zetella and Shining Glitter were slow to begin. Dubai Prince, Dyna Zoron, Shining Glitter and Zetella collided soon after the start. Notorious King and Stinga's Mate collided on the first turn, checking Pandora's Proof and Dubai Prince. Pandora's Proof galloped on Dyna Zoron entering the back straight, severely checking Pandora's Proof. Dyna Zoron and Notorious King collided on the third turn. Zetella and Notorious King collided on the home turn. Stinga's Mate and Dyna Zoron collided on the home turn.
A sample was taken from Dyna Zoron - the winner of the event.
Pandora's Proof was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to both deltoid muscles and a laceration to the pad on the right fore foot, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
