Steward's Report
Mahlo Blackhawk was quick to begin. Don's Machine crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Zipping Oliver and Destini Florida. Cronk and Destini Florida collided at the 250m mark. Cronk and Don's Machine collided at the 100m mark, checking Cronk.
A sample was taken from Destini Florida - the winner of the event.
Destini Florida was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right pencil muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards reviewed the video footage of this event due the distance of the lure from the greyhounds being approx 14 metres at the first split. After reviewing the race Stewards were satisfied the distance of the lure did not affect the outcome of this event. Stewards spoke to Lure Driver S Courts regarding this issue.
