Steward's Report
Lunar Shadow was a late scratching at 10.29am on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to dehydration. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Jet Blaster went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Scenic Miss and Shake The Night collided soon after the start. Scenic Miss and Rosacky Thunder collided at the 250m mark.
Meeting Comments:
After kennelling, Stewards received a report from Club CEO, Ms C O'Brien, regarding two dogs becoming entangled together at the first gate entrance to the kennelling area. Stewards opened an Inquiry and took evidence from Ms O'Brien, Trainer Mr D Schwarz and Trainer Mr A Spiteri. The Inquiry was adjourned pending Stewards obtaining CCTV coverage of the incident.
Satisfactory Trial Results - All You Got trialled over the 300m from box 1, weight 23.9kgs, the greyhound was placed 6th in a field of 6. The time of the trial was 17.32, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 13.75 lengths. All You've Got was not cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to B Ender, the trainer of She Loves Me regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. She Loves Me last raced on 10 March 2017. B Ender stated that the greyhound had been on season. Pursuant to GAR 77A, She Loves Me trialled over the 300m from box 3, weight 26.0kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 6. The time of the trial was 17.32, the greyhound won by a margin of 2 lengths. She Loves Me was cleared.
