Steward's Report
The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Chloe Crumpet and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 3:06 pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Ms Amie Peak was fined the sum of $100.
Dallas Fernando was quick to begin. Tao Tao, Mahoney Miss and Born Jamie collided soon after the start, checking Mahoney Miss. So Apparent crossed to the rail on the first turn, checking Dallas Fernando. Jagger Circuit, Tao Tao and Born Jamie collided on the first turn, checking Born Jamie. Jagger Circuit and Tao Tao collided approaching the home turn, checking Jagger Circuit. Mahoney Miss and Jagger Circuit collided on the home turn, in the home straight and approaching the winning post, checking both greyhounds.
Mahoney Miss was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
