The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Chloe Crumpet and no illness was detected.  The greyhound was a late scratching at 3:06 pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Ms Amie Peak was fined the sum of $100.

The announcement of all clear was delayed to allow Stewards to review vision of the start of the race.  After doing so Stewards were satisfied that although the starting boxes had been slower than usual to open no greyhound was affected and therefore all clear was declared.  Stewards subsequently tested the boxes prior to the next race with club staff and were satisfied the boxes were safe for racing.

Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Ronald Dunne, regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Balmoral Bash.  Stewards directed that Balmoral Bash be boxed first in future events.
