Steward's Report
This meeting is deemed heat affected. At the close of kennelling the outside temperature was 33.7 degrees and the kennel temperature was 20 degrees.
After consultation with TAB race day, the race meeting started at 2:57pm
Lonnie Knight was quick to begin.
Joffa's Mate was very slow to begin (3L).
Moondust, New Apollo and Extra Gear collided soon after the start checking New Apollo. Buster Norris checked off Moondust approaching the first turn. Cruisy's Patch checked off High Water approaching the first turn. Moondust checked off Cruisy's Patch on the first turn severely checking Moondust, Buster Norris and New Apollo.
Moodust was vetted following the event. it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
