Steward's Report
This meeting was deemed "hot weather affected". At the close of kennelling, the outside temperature was 31.1 degees and the kennel temperature was 21.6 degrees.
Aussie Rock was a late scratching at 9.29am on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to dehydration. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Sure Load and Ryder Sir collided soon after the start checking Sure Load. San Remo Lass and Jamie's Rocket collided soon after the start. Ba Ria and Ryder Sir collided at the 100m mark and again approaching the 50m mark checking both greyhounds. Ba Ria, Ryder Sir and Sure Load collided approaching the winning post.
