Dyna Alistair was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Melissa Lee checked off Dazzling Diva approaching the first turn. Melissa Lee and Pop Do It collided on the first turn, checking Melissa Lee. Seabrook Indi crossed to the rails approaching the home turn, checking Dazzling Diva. Hillbilly Bubba and Dazzling Diva collided in the home straight.

Tron's Empire was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right carpal sprain and an injury to the right flexor tendon. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

This race was delayed by approximately one minute to allow for track staff to carry out remedial works. 

Cloverlay was quick to begin. Doran's Call was slow to begin.

Stewards spoke to Mr J Collins, the representative of Allen Kelvin regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Allen Kelvin last raced on 7 October 2017. Mr Collins stated that  the greyhound was resuming from a right achilles injury

Unmid Bale and Destini Pegasus were quick to begin. Allen Kevin was slow to begin.

Stewards spoke to Ms J Hopkins, kennel representative of Pawsome Boss regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Pawsome Boss last raced on 31 October 2017. Ms Hopkins stated that the greyhond was resuming from a left hock injury.
