Steward's Report
Amber's Romance and Titanium Girl were quick to begin. Whitney Showgirl and Atomic Twist were slow to begin. Just Add Colour and Atomic Twist collided approaching the first turn. Atomic Twist and I'm A Princess collided on the first turn. She's Crackers checked off Amber's Romance on the first turn. Just Add Colour, Atomic Twist and Titanium Girl raced wide on the second turn. Just Add Colour and Titanium Girl collided on the second turn. Just Add Colour, Atomic Twist and Titanium Girl raced wide in the front straight. I'm A Princess eased and failed to pursue the lure on the third turn. Atomic Twist tailed off on the fourth turn.

Atomic Twist was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left back muscle and left hamstrings, a ten day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. N. Wynd, the trainer of the greyhound Atomic Twist. Stewards deemed the performance of Atomic Twist unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Atomic Twist must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Titanium Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained possible lactic acidosis, a ten day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Ferguson, the trainer of the greyhound Titanium Girl. Stewards deemed the performance of Titanium Girl unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Titanium Girl must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Drew, the representative of the greyhound I'm A Princess regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the third turn. I'm A Princess was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right back muscle and right hamstrings, a seven day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged I'm A Princess with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Drew pleaded guilty to the charge, I'm A Princess was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
