Steward's Report
Mr. H. Whelan, the representative of Invictus Ester declared a new weight of 27.1kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Invictus Ester last raced at 28.2kgs.
Newtown Flyer and Where's Lachie were slow to begin. Leggian Blonde and Destructive collided approaching the first turn checking Leggian Blonde. Invictus Ester and Newtown Flyer collided on the first turn checking Leggian Blonde and Where's Lachie. Nando's Thunder and Destructive collided on the first turn. Destructive and Brindle Ninja collided on the first turn checking Brindle Ninja. Destructive checked off Nando's Thunder entering the home straight.
Brindle Ninja was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Musselwhite, the representative of the greyhound Brindle Ninja regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the first turn. After viewing the official race footage, Stewards took no further action.
