Miss Peanut checked off Sammy Allen on the first turn and collided with Spider Regis. Blue Regis and Kurtis Pandora collided several times approaching the first turn, severely checking both greyhounds; causing both to race wide as a result. Xerox Letter and Whiz collided on the home turn. Miss Peanut and Spider Regis collided entering the home straight. Spider Regis checked off Whiz in the home straight. Blue Regis raced wide from the home turn to the winning post.
