The start time for this event was re-scheduled to start at 3.22pm due to the Armidale thoroughbred race meeting being postponed.
Ray's Wish was quick to begin. Flying Vulcan and Crackerjack Mick were slow to begin.
Revved Up Dee, Little Big Chief and Lupin Grange collided soon after the start, checking all three greyhounds. Little Big Chief checked off Revved Up Dee on the first turn. Lupin Grange and Crackerjack Mick collided approaching the home turn, checking Crackerjack Mick. Sight Screen checked off Ray's Wish on the home turn. Ray's Wish and Sight Screen collided entering the home turn. Flying Vulcan raced wide in the home turn.
